Delete your account

You can delete your Buckets account any time, right in the app. It takes about a minute.

How to do it

1. Open Buckets and go to More.
2. Tap your name at the top to open Settings.
3. Scroll down, tap Delete Account, and confirm.

What gets erased

When you confirm, we permanently delete:

• Your Buckets login (your email, or your Apple or Google sign-in link)
• Your connected banks. We tell Plaid to disconnect each one, so Buckets can no longer see those accounts.
• The saved bank access keys we hold for those banks
• Everything you entered or we synced: transactions, balances, NIL deals, and goals

Heads up: this can't be undone. Your bank itself isn't affected. Only your Buckets data is deleted.

How long it takes

Deletion starts as soon as you confirm. Your data is removed right away, and encrypted backups age out on their normal schedule.

Can't get into the app?

Email support@buckets.finance from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
